This course is designed to explore techniques for including exceptional learners in the general education classroom. Emphasis is placed on collaborative consultation with appropriate persons in the school, home, and community. This course will also include an in-depth study of preparatory skills for vocational opportunities for exceptional learners in the general curriculum. An overview of social, leisure, and recreational opportunities and assistive technology for exceptional learners in the general curriculum. 3 credits.
Effective fall 2025, a $10 per credit technology and infrastructure fee has been added, bringing the in-state rate to $295 per credit (in-state) and $365 per credit (out of state).
