PHPE 574: Methods for Teaching Secondary Physical Education

This course is designed to help the student develop teaching skills for physical education at the middle and high school levels. The course assists with improving teaching qualities that enhance participation and encourages lifetime physical activity. An overview of the PK-12 physical education curriculum that explores recent developments in the field along with an emphasis on instructional strategies, content progression, assessment procedures, management, inclusion, safety, and comprehensive physical activity programs is covered. 3 credits.

Payment Information

Effective fall 2025, a $10 per credit technology and infrastructure fee has been added, bringing the in-state rate to $295 per credit (in-state) and $365 per credit (out of state).
