Digital Images and Copyright in Your Classroom


Learners in this class will locate and curate digital images for use in their classroom. Learners will explore the use and creation of digital images and how they can integrate them into their classroom. Learners will apply appropriate copyright regulations to their use and curation of their own photos.

Goals & Learning Outcomes:

  • Identify the copyright attributed to images to be used in your classroom.
  • Apply the appropriate creative commons licensing to your own digital image.
  • Apply appropriate citations to digital images.
  • Compare and contrast types of copyright.
  • Categorize images by copyright type.
  • Evaluate digital images for appropriate and legal use in the classroom.
